or Killaha Castle.

Had a look round myself, as Glenflesk does not appear on any of the Irish maps I have.
Niether could I find it mentioned on O.S. sites. But the site for Kerry does mark it up some way south-east of Killarney. Though their is no informtaion on the place.
Perhaps a very good area map might give more detail, for all maps (including your Mr Speede, try; www.rallymap.demon.co.uk
I've bought of them in the past.

which details the country houses of the British isles,I found the follwing entry for Glenflesk Castle, which gives no indication that this was a castle, but more likely a mansion of later date, 1700?.

Many large houses of this era and later were given the name 'castle', when indeed they lacked fortifications and so are not castles. For this reason they do not appear on castle databases.
